*tried to get rid of the shiney parts...still working on it because now the black part doesn't look drawn, but I don't know how else to get rid of the shinyness....*

Finished portrait of John Lennon and Paul McCartney. This is my favorite time period with the two, perfect friends and amazing artists. This is how I'll always remember the two together. Took around 15 hours to do. The scanner made some of the black parts shinny so I will try to fix that sometime soon. I really enjoyed drawing this, and my mom loves it so it's not a bad gift for her after all.

mechanical pencil and graphite stick on cream colored paper, 10"X14"

That is truely amazing. The detials in the hands are incrediable, and the resemblance is astounding. The time that it took you to do this, shows that you are a true artist with emense talent. the only thing I could suggest, is on McCartney's left side of the nose, that line needs to de either erased or blended in. Besides that, It is perfect. I hope that you succeed in what ever you want.

OMG!!! You've gone and done it again.....this is absolutely stunning!!! I LOVE it!! Of course, the fact that it's John and Paul doesn't hurt either (tee hee....) But seriously, this is an awesome work of art. It looks just like them and the details and composition are just fantastic!! I don't know what else to say other than it's perfect and I want it!! :nod:
